I offer individual psychotherapy and couples therapy for people who are looking for support with relationships, anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-worth, and other personal or interpersonal concerns.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I offer in-person psychotherapy in the Greater Toronto Area and online therapy across Canada.

Whether you’re feeling stuck in a difficult situation, struggling in a relationship, or going through a significant transition in your life, therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand what is happening, identify patterns, and explore new ways of moving forward.

Individual Psychotherapy

Life can sometimes leave us feeling stuck, anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or uncertain about ourselves and our relationships. Individual therapy provides a supportive and confidential space to explore what you’re experiencing and consider what you want to change.

My training as a systemic therapist means that I consider your experiences within the broader context of your relationships, family, culture, history, and life circumstances. Together, we can explore the different factors that may be contributing to the challenges you’re experiencing and identify your existing strengths and resources.

Individual therapy may be helpful when you are:

  • Experiencing stress or anxiety
  • Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, sad, or insecure
  • Struggling with self-worth or self-esteem
  • Navigating a significant life transition
  • Coping with trauma, pain, or difficult past experiences
  • Experiencing interpersonal or relationship difficulties
  • Exploring questions about identity, belonging, or relationships
  • Looking for greater clarity about yourself and the direction of your life

Our work will be guided by your goals and tailored to your particular circumstances. My aim is not simply to help you cope with what is happening now, but to help you develop greater self-understanding and access the strengths and resources that can support meaningful change.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also become difficult when communication breaks down, conflict becomes repetitive, or one or both partners feel hurt, disconnected, or misunderstood.

As a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and specialized couples therapist, I work with couples experiencing relationship distress, conflict, communication difficulties, and other challenges.

Couples therapy can provide a space to slow down difficult interactions and better understand the patterns that develop between partners. We can explore what is happening beneath recurring arguments and consider how each person’s experiences, needs, and ways of responding contribute to the relationship dynamic.

Together, we may work on:

  • Improving communication
  • Understanding and managing recurring conflict
  • Rebuilding trust and connection after hurt
  • Strengthening friendship and emotional connection
  • Understanding patterns that keep you feeling stuck
  • Developing more effective ways of solving problems together
  • Creating a stronger foundation for your relationship

My goal is to help you develop a new perspective on yourself, your partner, and your relationship while building practical skills and greater understanding that can help you move forward together.

I use an eclectic, strengths-based approach, drawing from several therapeutic models depending on your needs and goals.

My primary approaches include:

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy
  • Emotion Focused Therapy
  • Compassion Focused Therapy
  • Narrative Therapy

Rather than applying one approach to every client, I work collaboratively with you to determine what fits your needs, values, worldview, and goals.
