Choosing a therapist is a personal decision. It’s important to find someone whose experience, approach, and way of working feel like a good fit for you.
I’m Jenny Glozman (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT). I work with individuals and couples, helping clients navigate relationship challenges, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and other concerns that can affect their well-being and relationships.
I offer in-person psychotherapy in the Greater Toronto Area and online therapy across Canada.
Education & Professional Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University in New York State and a PhD in Family Relations and Human Development from the University of Guelph.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT) with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT).
Before establishing my private practice, I worked as a therapist with individuals, couples, and families in mental health and social service agencies in the United States. My clinical experience includes working with concerns such as trauma, interpersonal difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
I have also taught as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Guelph, combining my clinical experience with an academic interest in relationships and family life.
I am a Co-Founder of The Calm Collective Psychotherapy Clinic, where I practice as a psychotherapist.
My Therapeutic Style
I believe that you already possess strengths, capabilities, and resources that can help you move toward meaningful change. Therapy can provide a space to discover those resources, understand patterns, and develop new ways of responding to the challenges you’re facing.
My style is warm, supportive, interactive, and collaborative. I work with you to explore your experiences, identify patterns, and develop insights that can help you make changes that are meaningful to you.
I often think of therapy as putting together the pieces of a puzzle. Together, we can look at the different pieces of your life—your relationships, experiences, beliefs, family history, and current circumstances—and begin to understand how they fit together.
Through thoughtful and sometimes challenging questions, I aim to offer new perspectives and help you see aspects of your life that may be difficult to recognize on your own. My goal is to help you access your own strengths and develop greater clarity about the changes you want to make.
An Inclusive and Collaborative Approach
There is no single approach to therapy that works for everyone. I believe the therapeutic process should take into account your goals, values, beliefs, relationships, culture, and lifestyle.
I work collaboratively with you to develop a therapeutic approach that fits your needs and worldview. I also strive to create a comfortable, respectful, and inclusive environment where you can explore difficult or personal topics without judgment.
I am attentive to the ways that gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, culture, and other aspects of identity and lived experience can shape our relationships and our experiences of the world.
My Approach to Psychotherapy
My approach is eclectic and strengths-based, drawing from several evidence-informed and relational approaches to psychotherapy.
At the beginning of therapy, we’ll spend time understanding what brings you to therapy, what you hope to change, and what you need from the therapeutic process. From there, we can tailor our work together to your particular goals.
My primary therapeutic approaches include:
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
An approach to couples therapy focused on strengthening relationships, improving communication, managing conflict, and building greater connection and understanding between partners.
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy
An approach that helps individuals and couples explore, understand, and work with their emotions and attachment patterns. By developing greater awareness of emotional experiences and the needs underlying them, therapy can support meaningful change in how you relate to yourself and others.
Narrative Therapy
An approach that explores the stories and meanings we develop about ourselves and our lives. Therapy can help you examine these stories and consider alternative ways of understanding your experiences and identity.
Compassion Focused Therapy
An approach that focuses on developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself, particularly when you are struggling with self-criticism, shame, or difficult emotions. Therapy can help you understand patterns of self-criticism and cultivate greater self-compassion, emotional resilience, and a sense of inner safety.
Solution-Focused Therapy
A strengths-oriented approach that focuses on your goals, existing resources, and possibilities for change while identifying practical steps toward the future you want.

These professional standards help guide my clinical practice and my commitment to providing psychotherapy in an ethical, respectful, and professional manner.
